    The stock market crashes sending many into a panic and wiping out millions of business investors.
  • Dust Bowl Begins

    Dust Bowl Begins
    The Dust Bowl was a monstrous dust storm. This eventually affected the soil where the farmers worked. Leading to extended drought, loss of millions of top soil; by 1930 the rains stop the best soil is completely gone with the wind.
  • Depression Worsens

    Food riots begin to break out because people had no jobs or money and were starving, so they would break into groceries stores and steal the food. The Star-Spangled Banner is adopted as the U.S National Anthem.

    Franklin D. Roosevelt is elected president and creates a New Deal which helped Americans find new jobs and it helped create a ton of new acts helping financial relief, farmers, employment, and so much more.
