    Black Tuesday is know as the begining of the Stock Market Crash. On October 19, 1929 stocks went down 13%. This happened when the stocks were of less value than there real value. This would start the downfall of everything.

    The Dust bowl was a very long and dry period. It started around 1931 and ended around 1939. It affected the farmland in both the north and the south, however the south was affected more. It is know for the large windblown dust and a decrease in agriculture.

    On March 4, 1933 FDR became the 32nd President of the Untied Sates of America. This would be his first time being a President. He would beat Herbert Hoover in this election

    In FDR first 100 days, he passed 15 bills through that would reshape the economy and the banks. He would invest in The Federal Emergency Relief Act which would pump $500 million into state welfare programs. He is know for his first 100 days becuae of all the sucessful change that he made.

    Roosevelt's Bank holiday is know for creating stability in the Bank system. Roosevelt suspened transaction from March 6 through the 10. This allowed his to talk to congress and pass new acts into place. One of the major one was the Federal deposit insurance corporation. This stated that if the back was to close, the federal government would refund there money.

    TVA was one of Rooselvests inovative ideas. He created thsi froup to address a wide range of environmental and economic issues. One of the sucessful things that came out of this was the delivery of low-cost electricity and the management of natural resources.

    The WPA was created to give unemployed citizen a chance to work for the government on public projects. This allowed things to be built and created 8.5 million jobs in 1943

    Jappanese fighter plans would attack Pearl Harpor. They would use 2 different packs to attack Pearl Harpor. The attack would be very sucessful for the japan. They would destroy nearly 20 American naval vessels, eight of which was enormous battleships, and almost 200 airplanes.

    This was a letter by Roosevelt that issused that all men, women, and children taht were japanese were moved to assembly centers. They were then evacuated to and confined in isolated.

    The battle of Midway island was a fight between the U.S and Japanese. This would come right after the Japanese would attacke pearl Harbor.

    D-Day is known when the Allied troops begin the push into Europe with the goal in mind to "To accept nothing less than full victory." D-Day death cost was very high, but was the start to defeat Hitler.
