    After an advertisement in a Glasgow newspaper, eight socttish clubs attended a meeting to discuss a formal structure for Scottish clubs to play within.
    These eight teams were Queen's Park, Clydesdale, Vale of Leven, Dumbreck, Third Lanark, Eastern, Granville and Kilmarnock

    Initially know as the "Cambrian Football Association", the Welsh FA was founded at a meeting held in Wynnstay Arms Hotel in Wrexham, to organise arrangements for the forthcoming match against Scotland

    Formed at a meeting by clubs mainly from the Belfast area, the IFA's first decision was to create an annual challenge cup competion which was called the Irish Cup.
    It is their equivalent to the FA cup.
