    Fall of the Confederation

This government was weak since it did not have much power. It could not collect taxes or properly unite the territories in times of crisis. As a result of this, the Confederation dissolved. This directly resulted in a civil war.

With the help of three of his wisest companions, he drafted a constitution that would regulate his monarchy. Under this constitution, he still had a substantial amount of power, but it still restricted acts of tyranny. The constitution went into detail about the creation of laws, the rights of the people, and many other things.

When the king was to make a critical decision, he would consult the people in order to know their views. Their views would affect the choice of the king.

Under this system, children that had exceptional talents were to be identified through various tests. After this, the best of the best were to be privately educated by the best teachers and philosophers. If the current king felt one was worthy, they would be declared his successor.
