  • Silent age of Animation

    Silent age of Animation
    Many characters that were featured during this time include Felix the cat, Little Nemo, Gertie the Dinosaur, Oswald the lucky rabbit, and many more. The silent age of animation was the earliest time of animation.
    The earliest animation recorded was made in 1908 and was a fence animation called Phantasmagorie.

    Cel animation is short for celluloid. Cell animation is a form of traditional animation
  • Walt Disney started animation

    Disney and Warner Brothers have many differences,
    as of 2015 Warner brothers remains one of the earliest of the three major animation companies to have released a pair of multi billion dollar movies. Looney toons is also a creation of Warner brothers as of 1930.
  • Golden age of animation

    Began in November 18, 1928 with the release of steamboat Willie.
    Many memorable characters emerged from this period, including Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Donald Duck, Daffy Duck, Popeye, Betty Boop, Woody Woodpecker, Mighty Mouse, Mr. Magoo, Tom and Jerry, Droopy and a popular adaptation of Superman.
  • Dark age of animation

    Dark age of animation
    The dark age of animation started in 1950 and continued until the early 1980s. soon after the start of the dark ages of animation the fall of a popular animation studio followed behind. The dark ages included animation only being shown in the theaters to them being shown on television. With this animation being shown on television the quality and time was depleted on each show or movie.
