Develop a plan for recruiting Gold Award Committee volunteers. Consider who you might like to recruit based on knowledge and skills. It doesn’t have to be existing volunteers. Have plan to Stefanie by June 1, 2012. -

Define review process for committee members. How long will they have to review submissions. Where, when, and how will they provide feedback. -

Create a Gold Award Marketing Plan
o Set a goal for increasing Gold Award participants.
o Clearly define how you will encourage more girls to “go for the gold.” Establish deadlines for any materials to be developed and disseminated.
o Include a plan for Overseas Committee reeducation. How will you help them understand their role in the process so that all committees (that are large enough) are participating in the same way? -
Recruit and fill Gold Award Committee spots
Recruit and fill Gold Award Committee spots no later than September 1, 2012. Fill any open positions as needed. -
Develop/Revise Gold Award training for girls, parents, and volunteers
Develop/Revise Gold Award training for girls, parents, and volunteers to include the new application process no later than September 15, 2012. Schedule and promote training opportunities. -
Assemble Committee
Assemble a Gold Award Committee with volunteer representation from Guam, New York-Served, North Atlantic, and West Pacific to oversee the Gold Award process no later than October 1, 2012.
