He was the third child of his mother, Sadie, who was 42 years old at his birth. He was 21 years younger than his next sibling. He lived in Northeast Philadelphia and many members of his family lived close by.

He joined a minor league soccer team sometime after his junior year of high school with his Ukrainian friends. He played in the minors until he was a sophomore in college. He continued to play soccer as an adult until 2017 when he had to have his knee replaced.

During high school, he started a project called Sparc in which students learn about the U.S. space program. They went on a bus trip to NASA.

He enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania and took a job at Arco to pay for it.

He met his future wife, Deborah May Linker while in college. She was a freshman in college and she was having lunch with another man. My grandfather knew the other man and he did not leave until lunch was over. He did not want her to be alone with the other person. After lunch was over, he asked her out.

He invented a new type of plastic that is widely used today and for this he received 1 dollar.

He was the first in his family to ever graduate from college. He majored in Chemistry and won several awards.

My mother, Laura Beth Frank, was born. She is now a doctor. Both of them went to the University of Pennsylvania.

He talked about walking uphill both ways getting to work in the snow no matter the season. He had to carry a Snub nose .38 revolver for his own protection.

My uncle, Joshua Benjamin Frank, was born. He is also a doctor. All of them went to the University of Pennsylvania.

When stationed in Georgia they took a trip to Disney World. This would be the first of many as they took all of their children and grandchildren multiple times.

Prior to his residency, he joined the Berry program, which allowed him to finish his residency prior to serving time in the army. He was stationed in Georgia as the U.S. Army did not need his services in Vietnam. If he had stayed in the army he would be stationed in Hawaii. He declined and his wife is still angry. He received credit in rank through his years of school so that he was a major when he went on active duty.

Once honorably discharged from the army, he moved with his wife and two children to Reading, PA. He started working as an obstetrician at the Women's Clinic.

When my mother was five, my grandparents and their family went to the New Jersey Shore. This became a tradition and we go at least once a year, sometimes one week, sometimes two. The photo down below is the earliest photo that I can find that has him at the shore. When traveling he would tell me how he used to drive "100mph with no traffic all the way". His favorite ice cream was from Kohr Brothers. He always got the Orange and Vanilla twist.

When my Uncle Josh started playing in elementary school, my grandfather started coaching as he loved the games. He stopped when my Uncle Noah graduated high school.

My uncle, Noah Samuel Frank, was born. He is now a patent attorney. He also went to the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in chemistry.

He bought this boat, a 1989 Four Winns so that the family could enjoy water sports. A new lake had been built by the U.S. Army Core of Engineers. I have spent many summers enjoying this boat.

This meant that he was in charge of the entire department at the Reading Hospital.

As two out of three kids were now out of the house, my grandparents started to travel more. One vacation was a trip to Thailand, Malaysia, and Bali. They were invited to a Chinese wedding in Malaysia which lead to the creation of this trip.

He stepped down when he started his own medical practice and wished to spend more time with his family. He bought and redecorated a medical building. My grandmother, my mother, her cousin, and her friend painted the building. It was a family effort. He still performed surgery at Reading Hospital but he no longer did deliveries.

When Uncle Josh was a medical student and rotated into OB/GYN at Reading Hospital, he was able to scrub in on a surgical case that his father, my grandfather, was performing.

I was born. I am now a student at Wellesley High School. I am not sure what college I will be attending or what I will be majoring in.

He bought the boat so that the family could enjoy wake surfing and it was a more dependable boat. This was a 2015 MasterCraft X25 that I have done some modifications to with my Uncle Noah.
