Genghis Khan was born into a royal family in the lovely place, Deluun Boldog. He was also born the earliest. In the book "The secret history of the mongols", his mom, oulen claimed that he was born holding a blood clot in his hand (people believed God gave it to him to show that he was special). -

In the year 1171, his father, Yesugei, was food poisened by the Tatar tribe. After his death, their tribe refused to be led by his wife, oulen. So, their tribe abandoned them, leaving only Yesugei's servant and oulen to look after themselves. -

Temujin marries Borte. Temujin's father, Yesugei planned this marriage years ago, and as a result, they were engaged at an early age. When Temujin was around 9, Yesugei went to Borte's family's home and delivered Temujin to make him live with them. -

Borte gave birth to Jochi after being rescued from the Merkit tribe. Temujin didn't like that he had merkit blood. So, he ordered his companion, Bo'orchi to kill him right after he was born. But, Bo'orchi didn't have the courage to do so. Since Borte loved Jochi so much, Temujin let him stay alive. Some sources even say that when Temujin was angry, he would take out his anger out on his wife, Borte by hitting her. -
Borte was rescued from the Merkit tribe. The Merkit tribe had stolenher and given her to another man because it was revenge against Temujin's dad for stealing oulen out of the Merkit tribe.

Chagatai, Temujin's eldest biological son was born. Temujin stopped the physical abuse on Borte. As Chagatai grew up, he always tried to separate Jochi from the family saying that he was a 'leftover of the Merkits'.

This was when he gained the title,'Genghis Khan'. It means 'universal king'. His life totally changed from here. He started to become more inhumane and brutal.

When Genghis Khan offered an agreement, Shah Muhammad refused, and sent Genghis Khan's messenger's head back to him. This made him infuriated. Out of anger, he attacked Central Asia and conquered lands all the way to the Caspian sea. -
In the book,"The secret history of the mongols", his soul was said to have rised to heaven. He was riding a horse then. Some sources even claim that some people saw sparks of fire lit up through the air while he was rising to heaven.
