Mid-season meeting
This is where the book begins and it is a meeting between the coach and players to discuss the remainder of the season. They state their goal for the season and coach informs them of new players joining the team. -
New players join team
There are two new kids who have joined the team and they are the two first white kids on the team. -
First Practice with new players
The new guys are practicing for the first time and then a man from the newspaper shows up to an interview. Drew is the star of the team so he exspects its for him, but its not... Its for the new kid Tomas -
First Game with new players
This was the first game with the two new players on the team. It wasn't a district game so it didn't matter who won. Coach did everything possible to not get the ball to Drew and make this Tomas kid look good. Eventually, Drew gets benched. -
Drew and Tomas
Drew and Tomas talk for the first time for real. Tomas tells Drew his story and introduces him to his mother. -
Closing in on end of regular season
It is closing in on the end of the end of the regular season and this half of the season really hasn't gone the way Drew thought it would. He has been assisting more than scoring. -
Last game of regaular season
This is the final game before playoffs -
Playoffs
Drew and Tomas are finally working together and leading the team through the playoffs -
The end
Finally late on in playoffs Drew's team loses a heartbreaker and there season is over. -
