Main Naval Attack
English battleships, cruisers, and destoyers were sent to break open its straits. They were soon forced to leave due to heavy shelling from the Ottomans. -
Gallipoli Landings
The French were supposed to make a landing at Kun Kale and make a diversion by faking an attack. The ANZAC troop were then supposed to land at Anzac Cove and attack the Ottomans from there. Sadly, this did not happen as the ANZAC's landed at the wrong beach, there was poor leadership and communication and most importantly, the Ottoman's had already anticipated an attack so they were waiting. Many lives were lost that night. -
Battle of Krithia
Hamilton ordered a renew attack on the village Krithia, despite the heacy casualities but by the end of the day, casualities forced a withdrawal. -
