    The Artemis program is a crewed spaceflight program by the NASA, the main objective is to land "the first woman and the next man" on the Moon by 2024. Artemis would help to establish a sustainable human presence on the Moon. The hope is to develop human activity on the moon.
    In 2017, the project was approved by Space Policy Directive 1. The NASA asked for $1.6 billion of funds for this project in 2020.
