In his book The Dialectics of Nature, there are three laws. These include the law of the transformation of quantity into quality; the law of the interpenetration of opposites; and the law of the negation. The first law states that the quality of something can change only if there is an addition or subtraction in quantity. The second law states that everything has the opposite of itself that lies within itself. Finally, the third law is the unity of the opposites.
