French and Indian war was a conflict between the French and British that the native Americans were apart of on behalf of the French to take down the Brits, due to France and Britain fighting over territory in the Ohio river valley. It provided Britain enormous territory but led to colonial discontent with the colonists causing tension. -

Colonists reacted with protests, due to taxation without representation being implemented into their heads with all the hardship they’ve been dealing with. -
Declaratory act was the repeal of the stamp act and the amendment of the sugar act, while parliament could make laws binding the American colonies. The colonists saw England taxing them as disgraceful without representation in parliament but overall relaxed the boycott from the repeal, and ignored the Declaratory act. -

The start of the revolutionary war began with the exchange of gunshot near Lexington and concord, Massachusetts. It started due to the taxation act, Boston massacre, and Boston tea party. The American colonists were finally at their end for how they were being treated and not being heard when paying absurd taxes. They were upset with paying taxes and were finally ready to change that.
