    in 1754 George Washington had tried to create a foothold called ft. necessity. This makeshift fort had been successful until the french were able to overcome it. The fort was captured and Washington confessed to Jumonville's murder.

The British later went on to win the battle of Quebec. afterward, though, the French and British commanders had to suffer fatal wounds and soon bleed out in 1759

    The French and British had come to an agreement after the British ultimately won the war. So the treaty of Paris is ratified. Afterward, the treaty is signed, and a few years later the sugar act is passed.
