    • ("shot heard around the world") about the 1st shots of the revolution in Ralph Waldo Emersons poem. -About 700 British Army regulars were given secret orders to capture and destroy military supplies that were reportedly stored by the Massachusetts militia at Concord.

    -Olive branch petiton established.
    -Declare their loyalty but ask for the repeal of the Intolerable acts.
