Francisco Pizarro was born in 1475. He was born in Trujillo Extremadura in Castile Spain. His parents were Captain Gonzalo Pizarro and Francisca Gonzalez.

1502 Francisco went to Hispaniola. With a new governor of the Spanish colony. He had knew little about the settled life of a colonizer.

In 1510 Francisco enrolled in an expedition of the explorer. With Alonso de Ojeda in Columbia. Three years later he was the captain.

In 1523 Francisco was 48 years old. He embarked on the adventure of his life. His partner was a soldier named Diego de Almagro.

1530 Francisco joined four bother and they sailed for Panama. The year later he set off to Peru. He set sail with 180 men and 37 horses.

1530 November 13 Francisco went to war with the Incas that had 30,000 men. Francisco sent his brother to a Spaniard to request an interview. Days later a priest offered a Bible to the Spaniards but they threw it down.Then Francisco declared war. He seized Atahuallpa.

1533 Atahualpa was held hostage. When he failed to fill the chamber with gold and silver. He was accused of ordering the execution of his brother Huascar.

In 1537 Francisco and his travel partner began to fight. They were fight to see who would be in control. There fight turned deadly and Diego was killed.

On June 26,1541 Francisco Pizarro died.He was killed by one of Diego's men. He cried Jesus has he fell to the ground. He was near 70 years old when he died.
