    World War One Started

    Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated by a Serbian man. Archduke was in line to be king of Austria-Hungary.

  • The Battle of Somme In World War One

  • US got involved in World War One

    Woodrow Wilson didn't want to get involvd at all but had to after the German sunk the Lusitania which killed more than a hundred Americans. Also the US found the Zimmerman Telegram was discovered which was a telegram to Mexico saying if they joined the Germans they would get the states close to the Mexico.

  • Germany took over France in World War Two

    Although there were still French Resistances through out the war.

  • Germany broke pact with Soviet Union in World War Two

    Germany broke pact with Soviet Union and invaded it.

  • Japan surrendered in World War Two

  • The Cold War Started

  • Soviets launch the First man-made Satellite in The Cold War

  • China exlodes it's first atomic bomb in the Cold War

  • The Cold War Ended
