    The French and Indian War had begun in 1754 then eventually had ended in the treaty of paris in 1763. From the war great britain had gained large amounts of territory in in North America. The American Indians fought to control their land and the future of their culture.

    The Boston Massacre was a "street fight" that turned into a massacre. This happened because a group of 300 to 400 colonists were throwing sticks, rocks, and snowballs at a group of soldiers. They ended up killing 7 of them in a massacre.

    The Boston tea Party was a protest that the american colonists did out of anger of being taxed. What they did was dump 342 chests of tea that the British imported into the Harbor.

The age requirement was 25 or younger. In the revolution they served as a small military force that assembled when the british attacked.

    The battle of concord which happened april 19 1775. The famous shot called round the world marked the beginning of the revolutionary war which was politicly horrible for the british. It had also persuaded many americans to take up weapons and support the cause for independence.

His leadership skills and fortitude had kept the american military from falling apart long enough to sucre a victory at yorktown as well as claiming independence for his new nation in 1781. Martha Washington also helped by copying George washington's letters, making clothes for the soldiers and visiting the hospitals.
