British and French forces were sent in to help the Israelis and the USSR stood behind Egypt. This ruined the relationship between the U.S. and USSR and eventually the British, French, and Israelis withdrew their troops.

    This Crisis consisted of the USSR and the U.S. having a 13 day standoff in order to determine the access of Cuba to the USSR and the unauthorized production of nuclear missiles that were a direct threat to the U.S. JFK created a blockade around Cuba that would prevent the Soviets to import any further materials.
