The Alabama Governor, George Wallace allows two African American students Vivian Malone and James to enroll on June 11, 1963. In January of 1963, Wallace gave his speech at the doorway of the university addressing, "segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever." That is when the President JFK sent 100 troops to the university against the George Wallace to stand down after blocking the entrance to the two students without segregating.

U.S. President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dalles Texas with his wife Jacqueline Kennedy. His accused killer was Lee Harvey Oswald, he was a former U.S marine. Bob Hope traveled and did shows for 50 years, he was popularly known for touring in areas U.S soliders were stationed to give them entertainment. After the 1963 event that occurred at the University of Alabama , The governor rebranded his message; “Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever!”. This was against what he called the federal government’s intrusion into the lives of ordinary Americans. His agents warned him not to go into crowds and shake hands but he still did and in one of the campaigns he ended up getting shot by Arthur Bremer five times.
