Emmet Till's Murder
14 year old African American Emmet Till was forced to carry a 75-pound cotton-gin fan to the bank of the Tallahatchie River and was ordered to take off his clothes. two men then beat him nearly to death, took out his eye, shot him in the head, and then threw his body, tied to the cotton-gin fan with barbed wire, into the river all after he flirted with a white woman. -
The Vietnam War
This war lasted for about 19 and a 1/2 years ending around April 30, 1975. Communist North Vietnamese forces, led by Ho Chi Minh, were allied with the Viet Cong in South Vietnam, the People's Republic of China, the Soviet Union, Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam), the United States, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Laos. -

Assassination of John F. Kennedy
The 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy and the Governor, John Connally was shot in a motorcade during an event riding through Dealey Plaza in downtown in Dallas, Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald. The former president had died and the former governor had survived for a few years then later died. -
