  • The Recession ( Economic)

    The farmers were the ones who were mostly affected by this recession. They had trouble affording their farm many of them had to keep borrowing money. Many states were in debt because of the Revolutionary War. If the states wanted to pay off the debts they would have to raise taxes, but the farmers couldn't afford to pay the taxes. The recession was not good for America. It was bad for the economy and the people who were effected by this recession.
  • Articles of Confederation (Political)

    The Articles of Confederation established a weak central government. The states were already for so many years, but did give up independence for a new central government. The Article of Confederation could declare war, raise armies, and sign treaties. It could not regulate trade of impose taxes. The Articles of Confederation was just the start of forming a new government it was the start of forming a great government. It was helpful in American history.
  • Shay's Rebellion (Social)

    Shay's rebellion started because of the taxes in Massachusetts The farmers were rebelling because they wanted to pay taxes in paper money. This mostly effect the farmers with not a lot of money. The farmers of Western Massachusetts rebelled because they could not afford to pay for their farms. They call it Shay's rebellion because Danielle Shay led the rebellion with 1,200 farmers. This rebellion was not a good way to solve the problem it did not show progress.
  • Cause of Intustrial Revolution

    Eli Whitney introduced Interchangeable parts. This lead to the Industial Revolution.
