    The Slave Trade
    The slave trade was when traders exchanged the english products for slaves and it played an important part in the settlement of the new world and the growing prosperity of Europe.
  • The Declaration of Independence

    The Declaration of Independence
    The Continetal Congress adopted the Declaration of ndependence. Which stated "all men are created equal and have the right to life, liberty, and persuit of happiness. It didn't included women and slaves but was a great step toward equality and justice.
  • Civil War

    Civil War
    This was a war where the north and south colonies fought. The north didn't want slavery but the south did want slavery. During the war, Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation. The document freed slaves in the states that were in rebellion.
  • World War II

    World War II
    Germany invaded Poland because they wanted revenge for the harsh treatment there country recieved in World War I. Germany (Nazi) killed about 6,00,000 jews and the U.S. declared War and Germany surrendered in 1944. The United Nations was formed.
  • Cold War

    Cold War
    This war was against the Soviet Union and The United States. This wasn't an actual war because is was just a threat between two countries because they both wanted power and influence. Both built up their military and nuclear weapons. The Soviet Union collapsed which ended the war.
