Still resting in Bush Hill.Mattie is worried about her mother.She is about to move in to the barn yard. -
At the coffee shop
Someone broke inside the coffee shop.Trying to get food from the garden. -
To the coffee shop
Met Mrs.Bowles when she was in the wagon.Mrs.Bowles offers Mattie a job. -
Sleeping at home
Mattie found potatoes at the garden to cook dinner.Both taking a bath to get rid of the itch. -
Someone came inside the coffee shop
Two people break in and tried to steal stuff.But Grandfather came down and got hurt.Mattie cut somebody with a sword. -
Found Eliza
They found Eliza while she was helping people with the fever.Mattie explained what happened.Mattie and Nell stayed with Eliza for a couple days. -
Grandfather died
Grandfather dies because of the burgalurs.Mattie says a prayrer for Grandfather.Mattie searches for Eliza but finds a young girl named Nell. -
Robert William and Nell get sick
They get sick with the fever. Mattie tells Eliza not to prick them. -
First frost
The first frost falls which means the fever is gone.Things go back to normal mostly. -
Mama comes home
Mama comes home mostly recovered.Mama is surprised how well Mattie was running the coffee shop.
