    Guy Montag leaves his long day of burning books as a fireman, he starts his walk to his house. Everything on this evening seems very normal until he stumbles upon a new friend.

    Guy runs into a strange girl who turns out to be his neighbor. They walk togther and Clarisse expains how she is different than most people. He gets home but contimplaits his life after what he heard her say.

    Guy finds Mildred basically dead
    Guy is finished thinking about his discussion with Clarisse as he stumbles upon his wife, almost dead after taking to many sleeping pills.

    Men come in the middle of the night and use two devices to get the poison out of her body and put fresh blood in her system.

    Mildred awakes feeling well and goes to eat breakfast. Guy is upset but eventually goes to work.

    Guy goes day by day and talks to Clarisse about the world and he begins to rethink some of the aspects of his life. They begin to become very good friends. One day, Guy is told how Clarisse was hit by a car and died.

    Guy goes to work and is put in a horrible situation. A woman in her house chooses to burn with her books. She dies and Guy couldn't do anything about it.
  • Beatty comes to visit

    Beatty comes to visit
    Guy explains to his wife how bad his day was but she doesnt understand. Beatty comes by the house because Guy claims to be sick. He explains how the idea of books became unpopular and then says that Guy will have to burn the book he thinks he has, within 24 hours.

    Proof?
    Guy tries to read his multiple books and prove that Beatty is wrong. He spends hours but is unsuccesful. He feels that they are important though.
  • Professor Faber

    Professor Faber
    Guy goes to visit an old friend and professor who knows a lot about books. They discuss possible ways to fix the distopia. Guy is given an earpiece and leaves.
  • Bad Work Shift Again

    Bad Work Shift Again
    Guy returns to work, gives a book to Beatty and is then off to a house. The house turns out to be his and he is forced to burn it down (Mildred told on him). He managed to hide books outside of the house beforehand. Beatty tries to put him into custody, Guy burns him to death, and then he runs.
  • On the Run

    On the Run
    Guy is running to eventually catch up with Faber in another city. The Mechanical Hound is on his scent. He manages to lose the hound after wading through a lake or river to the woods.
  • Making New Friends

    Making New Friends
    Guy is walking through the forest when he runs into a group of men who are sitting by a fire. All of them had professions in the past that involved books and basically have memorized them all. They help Guy lose his scent.
  • Distopia Swept Clean

    Distopia Swept Clean
    The men hear the bombers over head as they are discussing books and the Bible. They begin to put out the fire and pack up to leave. Bombs are dropped on the city and it lays in ashes along with Clarisse although Faber left in time. Guy is a little sad but eventually all the men pack up and head on to another city, that will probably already be destroyed.
