    Russian Democratic Labour Party Splits
    Originating back in 1898 the party played a fundamental role in uniting Russia. It helped combine multiple groups into one large and powerful group and helped change society. Sadly, the group split 1903.
  • Bloody Sunday

    Bloody Sunday
    Bloody Sunday, sounds pretty awful and that’s because it is. In Russia, it is a reminder of all the people who died when fired upon by soldiers in St. Petersburg. These events led to a lot of rebellion and outrage that the Russian Federation had to now deal with due to the complete ignorance of the soldiers.

    Assassination of Franz Ferdinand
    Franz Ferdinand’s death was what set everything off for WW1. With his death came extreme outrage later creating conflict with neighboring countries. Allies backed Ferdinand’s death but disagreement rose causing a major conflict beyeeem world powers.

    Although some may not find this important I believe this is a key event. During war it escalated so much that they decided they would use tear gas. The use of tear gas shows both the advancements made by society and the brutality inflicted by man.
  • America enters the War

    America being the super power it was, finally entered the war. Many allied countries were angry at the United States for not coming sooner but the United States did not want to get involved. They were however were making money off the war with their selling of weapons. After they were attacked they had no choice but to join the war.

    This was a huge day. With opposing sides coming together to sign an agreement to end the war. Of course there was no option for the enemies as they ad lost the war but it was a crucial day. It ended the war and allowed men to come back home.

    Prime Minister Chamberlain wanted to sign a peace treaty with Hitler. This of course was just the start. It was supposed to be all of the land that Hitler would ever have but he wanted more. This eventually led to the rise of Nazi’s and the German Empire.
  • Hitler invades Czechoslovakia

    Hitler invades Czechoslovakia
    Previously, Hitler was supposed to be happy with the capture of Munich but that was not the case. He broke the treaty and decided to try and take over even more land and people. He was successful in this and this led to Hitler becoming even more powerful.
  • Russia and Germany sign pact

    Russia and Germany sign pact
    Hitler and Russia decided they would agree to help one another. This didn’t last long since Hitler soon turned on Russia, resulting in much more conflict. Russia would join the Allied forces later on.
  • Hitler invades Poland

    Hitler already has Munich, Chezovakia and now he is invading Poland. This gives him much power and resources to take even more land. This made the war much more difficult for the United States and its allies.
  • D-Day

    This was a historic day as Allied forces raided the beaches of France. This was a huge success and the allied forces needed to win the fight. In the case the allied forces didn’t win the d day fight the outcome of the war may be different.

    This was a major event as it discussed the outcome after the war and what each country was responsible for. It also discussed the land that each country would obtain and or lose.

    Hitler the man who caused the deaths of millions of Jews commit es suicide. This played a key role for the United States as they wanted to kill/ capture Hitler for a long time. His death led to happiness to people within the United States.

    The United States sought to end the war for once and for all by using a nuclear bomb. This was a very controversial decision and still has consequences for many people today. The city was destroyed and people were infected with radiation reducing their time of life.

    The Cold War between Russia and the United States was a fight between two major superpowers but no troops were ever deployed. It was moreover of a fight over ego. This forces the competitive nature that makes the space race. There is a drive for innovation now and development.
  • Cuban Middle Crisis

    This was a huge problem that led to many other problems. With the Cuban Missle crisis there was a large threat against the United States. John F. Kennedy played a large role and this contributed to his death.
  • JFK Assassination

    JFK Assassination
    John F. Kennedy was a president for the United States and was somewhat controversial. John F. Kennedy was assasinated and this resulted in the Vice President becoming president. Creating a large shift for the United States, this made a difference for the United States.
  • End of the Warsaw Pact

    End of the Warsaw Pact
    This was a pact that was signed by the enemies but was officially ended after the war, this was a sign that the war was over and that the allied forces had won. It also later resulted in the loss of land from the Soviets.
