    Charles Darwin was the second born son on February 12, 1809 to his father, Robert Waring Darwin a Society Doctor, and mother, Susan Wedgwood the daughter of Unitarian Pottery Industrialist. Eight years after his birth his mother died leaving him to be raised by his three sisters.

    In 1825 he moved to Edinburgh University to study Medicine, but he loathed anatomy and surgery sickened him. He soon quit his degree with no hesitation and began to study Theology in 1828 at Christ College where Charles Darwin earned his bachelor’s in arts in 1831.
  • Voyage of the Beagle

    Voyage of the Beagle
    Darwin was invited by his former professor to take a 5-year voyage on board the Beagle to study Geology where in 1832 he began to romanticize with fossils and how it related to science.
  • Natural Selection

    in 1836 when the Beagle made its way back home Darwin published his book of studies and began to create his theory of Natural Selection though he kept it to himself until 1842.

    Between 1859 and 1881 Darwin publishes 5 books that cover Evolution between species. Initially causing outrage in the Church of England but gradually and slowly became widely accepted throughout the course of time and is still referred to today.

    Charles Darwin died of a heart attack and had a "gentleman like funeral in Downe.
