In 2007 a new company, Apple, cam out with the Iphone. With it you could easily send text messages, check email, make calls, search things on the internet, and you could use a new program called Youtube where you could easily share videos. You could even take pictures and videos.

In 2008 Google, the main web browser at the time, introduced the Android. This phone was very similar to Apple's Iphone, but had an easier user interface. Over the years both Apple and Android have built upon their first phone's and have turned a phone into both a laptop, and a camera at the same time as it fits into your pocket.
