    The first mobile phone call was made 40 years today.By Motorola employee Martin Cooper.     Sharp was first to the camera phone market with their J-SH04 (J-Phone), released by J-Mobile in Japan. It offered a mere 0.1 megapixel resolution. Some like to give credit to Olympus for being the first camera to transmit digital images over a cellular network with their Deltis VC-1100.
