    Analog Motorola DynaTAC 8000X Advanced Mobile Phone System mobile phone as of 1983.   • Motorola MicroTAC 9800X

    If you have watched any movie from the 80s you’ll notice that the cellphones were mostly all wired into cars. This is why they were often called "carphones". because of how huge the devices were , they also required "massive batteries, and were only portable in the sense that they went where the car went." Because of the technology that was inside the telephone, the price of the cell phone was really, really high.     The Nokia 8810 was designed to be the most luxurious phone of all time. The reason why they added the internal a antenna so it can "support for 250 contacts." And it was made in the US!!!!!
  • 1996 – NOKIA 9000 COMMUNICATOR

    The Nokia Communicator 9000 is the world’s first smartphone, It was really heavy too, and also it had a " QWERTY keyboard.
    It could do email, texts and make calls ". So basically things that none of the company's had achieved/reached in the 90s.
  • 1997 – Nokia 6110

    The Nokia 6110 was the first mobile phone to use an " ARM processor, and was just one of a long line of 6xxx series phones from the Finnish company". So basically they made a lot of money because it was the costumers attraction because it had a ARM processer but let me tell you, that was really expensive.
  • Siemens S10 [1997]

    Siemens(a new brand during that time) launched its ever first model in 1997, it was also the first mobile phone with a full color screen. ''It displayed up to six lines of information in four different colors (white, red, blue and green). It also came with several basic apps such as an alarm, a phone book and even a voice note recorder.''

    The Nokia 9210i was the most sucsessful model because it featured a TFT color display, a ARM processor "The handset was used by Val Kilmer in 1997’s remake of The Saint, as well as Anthony Hopkins and Chris Rock in Bad Company."

    The BlackBerry 850 was the "first handset released under the BlackBerry brand." ( It was a new brand at the time) Don't forget it was still a little heavy and really expensive when it came out. However, no wires!

    The Nokia 3310 guess what? in 2013, a lot of people who went to school during this time have said that the 3310 is one of the best mobile devices ever created. Some even say that it can not break( So now your parents wont get mad at you if the phone broke cause it cant!)
  • 2002 – Samsung SGH-T100

    Before apple and Samsung had took over the whole entire world it made flip phones like these , which was the first phone ever to "use a thin-film transistor active matrix LCD display."
  • 2003 – BlackBerry 5810

    even though the phone didn’t have a built in speaker so you had to plug headphones in to make phone calls or play music,watch if you didnt want anyone to hear. However, the BlackBerry 5810 did have email and a "QWERTY keyboard."

    The TREO 600 was probably the world’s first smartphone to have this type of coding and themes, as it can actually allow for "multitasking; you could check the calendar while making a call, for instance
    The phone was still VERY expensive but it sold over millions of thousands.
