    A homemade bomb was carried in a truck to the building, which exploded, demolishing most of the building and damage to the area around it. 169 were killed and 675 were injured.

    Truck bombs carrying up to 17 tons of explosives were detonated at each side of the embassy. The attack was traced to an extremist group called The Egyptian Islamic Jihad. There were 303 killed and 4,954 injured.

    Inguish and Chechen Insurgents held a school in Russia captive, there were 1,100 hostages and 777 of them were children. These insurgents demanded an end to ongoing Chechen military dispute with Russia. On the third day, Russian officials acted and assulted the shool with tanks and heavy weapons, 30 insurgents were killed, but also 334 hostages were killed.
