PFLP Hijacking of El Al Flight
The PFLP, a Palestinian nationalist organization wanted to use certain tactics to bring world wide attention to Palestinian dispossession. They also wanted to exchange the Palestinian militants held prisoner in Israeli prisons for the Israeli men they held hostage.This was one of the first plane hijacks, brought on by terrorism, in history. -
Munich Olympics Massacre
The Munich Olympics Massacre was a terrorist attack during the 1972 Olympic Games. Eight Palestinian terrorists killed two members of the Israeli Olympic team. They then took 9 hostages and ended up in a huge gunfight that left five of the terrorists the hostages dead. -
Bomb Attack in Nairobi, Kenya
The Norfolk hotel was bombed on New Year´s Eve in Nairobi.The bomb killed 20 people and wounded more than 80 people. The Norfolk bombing was blamed on the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO). The Palestinian group did this because they were not on good terms with Kenya because of its role in the Entebbe raid of 1976. -
Pan Am Flight 103
Pan Am Flight 103 exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland, about half an hour after taking off from London. 259 people on board the flight were killed, along with 11 people on the ground. This was caused by a timed bomb. This is proven because some U.S. and British investigators found fragments of a circuit board and a timer in the plane. Libyan intelligence agent Abdelbeset Ali Mohmed al Megrahi was tried for the bombing and found guilty. -
Assassination of Rajiv Gandhi
Rajiv Gandhi was the ex-Prime Minister of India. He was assassinated because of a suicide bombing n Tamil Nadu, India. 14 others were also killed and the terrorist was Thenmozhi Rajaratnam. The attack was blamed on the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. -
Train Bombin in Paris, France
A terrorist bomber destroyed an underground commuter train which wounded 29 people. It induced fear of the islamic militants. The bombing was caused by a young Algerian kid who was on the side of the islamic extremists. -

Marxist rebels killed 76 people to induce fear in Bogota, Colombia. FARC carried out coordinated attacks which was politically motivated More than 30 soldiers and police oficers were reported missing and ended being held prisoner by the FARC terrorist group. -
9/11 Plane Hijacking
19 people who were associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four planes. They did this to carry out suicide attacks. Two of the planes were flown into tboth of he World Trade Center towers in New York. The third plane hit the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. The fourth plane crashed in a field located in Pennsylvania
