The internet became accessible to the general public via Mosiac web browser. Yahoo and Google would soon follow. The world would now be connected like never before. Mosiac was developed in the United States by Marc Andreessen and others at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois. -

The debut of Google was the start of the search engine as we know it today. Information was at you fingertips and now you had a tool to search through it effectively! Larry Page invented the search engine page. -

The MP3 player was released. You could now carry hours of music with you on one disc! This was the start of a music industry revolution, for better or worse. In 1997, the world's first MP3 player, the MPMan F10, was developed by a South Korean company SaeHan Information Systems.
