    Christopher Columbus is one of the best-known of all explorers. He went on a voyage in 1492. He led an expedition of three ships: the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria. On October 12, 1492, the expedition came across America and discovered the "New World". This is the biggest event in American history as it is our beginning.

This affected us greatly because it began to show equality among the people.

This affected us because it brought our nation together and soon ended World War II.

The operation, code-named Operation Neptune Spear, was carried out in a Central Intelligence Agency-led operation. This is an important event in American history because we killed the man who led the 9/11 attacks and many other terrorist plots.
