  • Albany Congress

    This was a meeting in albany to discuss proplems in the colonies.

  • French and Indian War

    This was the battle between indian land in the American Colonies. The french and english were fighting for it.

  • The Proclimation of 1763

    This was a treaty marking the end of the French and Indian War.

  • The Sugar Act

    A new law was passed by Great Britain that enforced taxes.

  • The Stamp Act

    This was an act by Great britain that enforced taxing in the colonies and spacifically them.

  • Stamp Act Congress

    This was the congress of the colonies discussing the issues of the new act known as the "Stamp Act".

  • The Boston Massacre

    This massacre was the act of many british soldiers getting fed up with the crowed of peasents and fired into the crowd.

  • The Tea Act

    This was the act of Great Britain putting taxes on tea ultimatly leading to the Boston Tea Party.

  • The Boston Tea Party

    After the "Sugar Act' passed by britain, many of the colonists wanted tea to have no tax so they dumped pounds of tea into the ocean.

    This was the first congress talking about getting free from england and becoming America.

    This was the congress that decided to plan the revolution and start the attack. They also decided the commander of the revolution known as George Washington.

    This was the first battle of the Rev. war, Still, no one knows what side fired the first shot.

    The colonists decided that the best leader for the revolution would be George Washington.

  • Declaration of Independance signed

    The Declaration of Independants was signed by the congress.

  • British take NYC

    The british capture NYC and the reason why this is so big is because George Washington tried to take it back many times but they all unfortunatly failed.

  • Paoli Massacre PA.

    This massacre happend in Paoli Pa. British soldiers rebeled and fired on inoccent people.

  • Washinton Arrives at Valley Forge

    Washington arrives at Valley Forge during the winter. Many men died in the cold which threatend the revolution.

  • French Alliance Signed

    The French and America sign a treaty to create an alliance to destroy Britain. The main reason France wants to sign is because the enemy of their enimy is their friend.

  • Articles of Confederation Adopted

    These articles served as a statement that declared America independant. It was also a weak central government that mostly, but not entirly, prevented every state from becoming their own country.

  • Congress Ratifies Preliminary Peace Treaty

    This was the peace treaty between America and Great Britain.

  • The US and Great Britain sign The Treaty of Paris

    The "Treaty of Paris" was a dopcument that declared peace between England, America, and France.

  • Washington resigns as Commander

    Washington quit the spot as America's Commander.

  • US Constitution Signed

    The Constitution that started the government was signed anmd formed the Democracy we have today.

  • US Constitution Adopted when New Hampshire Ratifies it

    The final state ratifies the constitution officialy making America the free country.
