The piece consisted of many truths about everyones rights to be completely free and live unoppressed. This opened many colonists eyes to the oppressed live they were living under British rule. -

Yet another call for tolerance among the colonists and Great Britain. Pleading for the tolerance of religion. -
First Continental Congress
The first continental congress lasted from September 5th to October 26th. The delegates from each colonie voiced their oppinion on what they thought should be done concerning rebelling against Britain. Some didn't want to rebel at all. -

This second Conressional meeting was held after the battle at Lexington and Concord where Britsh soldiers fired into a crowd of people. This time it was not a question of iIF they should retaliate against Britain; But HOW. -

The articles of Confederation was a document signed by members of the 13 colonies. This document acted as the first "draft" of order or some sort of laws for the colonies. -
