Four passenger airplanes were hijacked by 4 trained terrorist pilots and 15 other terrorists. Two were crashed into the World Trade Center, both the South and North towers, one was crashed into the Pentagon, and the other crashed in Pennsylvania. Both the South and North towers collapsed under the heat of the flames. 2,996 people were killed and over 6,000 were injured. This is the most historic terrorist attack in the United States.

The purpose of this time line was to show all the events that lead up to the disaster of 9/11. This topic intrigues me and also makes me sad, but also proud to be an American. America came back from this disaster with so much pride and hope.
