Josef Stalin becomes the dictator of the Soviet Union. Stalin signed a non-aggression pact with Hitler which in turn, allowed Hitler to invade Poland. The invasion on Poland is what cause the ripple affects leading to the Pearl Harbor attack. -

Nazis Invaded Poland
On September 1, 1939 Hitler and his Nazi Party, Third Reich, invade Poland. This was the main trigger for World War II. Following this event Britain and France declared war on Germany. -
Germany Takes Over France
Germany invaded France with the help of Italy. Germany control over the Northern part of France. France was one of the closet allies to the U.S. Germany took over Frances government and Germany took over Frances government and destroyed the concept of democracy. -
Germany Bombs Britain
Britain was/ is one of the United States closes allies. Germany began bombing Britain every night for about two months. This was pushing the United States to even more so to join World War II to help fight along side Britain and to give them aid. -
Pearl Harbor
Hitler and the Japanese teamed up on attacking Pearl Harbor. The United States ignored the Neutrality Act. After Pearl Harbor was attacked the United States joined in on World War II against Germany. The U.S stayed out of WWII until the war was brought on their land.
