The Enabliing Act of 1933 gave the German cabinet the power to create laws without the input of the Reichstag. -
Neutrality Act of 1935 signed
The Neutrality Act of 1935 put an embargo on the trade of arms and war materials with all parties in a war. Also it stated that Americans traveling on warring ships must travel at their own risk. -

Franklin D Roosevelt was elected for his third term with his promise of haaving the United States remain neutral in foreign wars. -
Lend-Lease program enabled
The Lend-Lease program made it so that the US would provide military aid to any country who was vital to the United State's security. This gave Roosevelt the power to lend arms to Great Britain. -
A Phlip Randolph's march and Roosevelt's response
A Philip Randolph's march movement was created to pressure the United States into desegregating the military and to give fair working oppurtunities to African Americans. Roosevelts response was to issue the Executive Order 8802 which prohibited discrimination in the defense industry, The march was called off due to his response. -
Japanese attack on Pearl harbor
The Attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise attack on the United States naval base, Pearl Harbor. The United States entered the war soon after due to this attack. -
Adolf hitler declares war against the United States
Hitler declared war on the United States due to us declaring war on Japan. The United States stopped remaining neutral so Germany declared war.
