    The Albany Plan was adopted on July 10th, 1754 by the british colonies in order to unify them under a more centralized government.

    The Stamp Act was imposed by the British government in order to make more funds, because of the war that they lost. The act made every American colonist pay a tax on every piece of paper they used.

    On March 5th, 1770, five civilians were killed in Boston by the works of redcoats. This event helped spark the rebellion against the British Empire.
  • The Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party
    The Boston Tea Party was a protest by the Sons of Liberty, for the harsh taxes that the British Empire imposed. The rebels threw tea into the ocean from a ship in dock, causing the British to lose a lot of money. Some of the colonists also tried to pass as Mohawk Indians, so that they would not be seen and face jail time.

    Battle of Lexington and Concord
    The battle of Lexington and Concord was the first step of military engagements in the American Revolution. The Americans won the battle while the British retreated back to Boston. This was a big moment for Americans because they finally gained respect for their army from the British.

    The Declaration of Independence was issued for the main purpose of gaining independence. The Declaration assured that the 13 colonies were free of British rule and now formed as states that created a new nation, the United States.

    The Revolutionary war came to an end when the British General was surrounded. There was no where for him to go so he was forced to surrender, which leads to the Treat of Paris later on where America gains complete independence.
