The Peace of Augsburg was a great day for Lutheranism and Catholicism. Before the Peace of Augsburg Catholicism Lutheranism were basically at religious war because the creator of Lutheranism; Martin Luther exposed the Catholic church for corruption and started his own religion. Luckily, The Peace of Augsburg was created to make the two Religions coexists, and to let rulers decided legally between Catholicism or Lutheranism.

The French War of Religion was a very long war between Catholics and Huguenots, who are protesters against the Catholic church. The French War of Religion is actually the second most deadly Religious war, killing almost 3 million people. The war was caused by a growth of Calvinism in France which caused the French ruler Catherine de Médicis to accept and show tolerance towards them; which made the Roman Catholic Guise family who caused the war.

St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre was a city wide manslaughter against the Huguenot (Calvinist) men, children, and women.The massacre was caused by the assassination of Admiral Coligny when he was stabbed to death and thrown out of his window. The assassination sparked a Religious discrimination against the Huguenot lead by the Catholics; they would kill them and throw them into the River Seine.

The Edict of Nantes was a edict that gave the Huguenots substantial rights in the Nation. This edict was signed by King Henry IV of France, he signed this edict on the path to try to reach religious peace.Eventually the Edict was revoked by Louis XIV of France because she didn't agree with the Calvinist lack of universal adherence.

The 30 Years War was the deadliest Religious war resulting in 8 million deaths, most deaths from disease and starvation. The 30 years war was caused by King Bohemia who attempted to impose Roman Catholic absolutism on his domain. The war was fought between protestants and Catholics which pulled in France, Sweden, Spain, Denmark, and the Habsburg dynasty that ruled the Holy Roman Empire.

The Treaty of Westphalia was signed in 1646 ending the 30 and 80 years war. This Treaty also help build the framework for international relations and mediation between nations. On top of the other great things the treaty did it also helped the Netherlands gain its independence from Spain.
