    The Battle of Britain was a very instrumental battle in World War II. Germany aimed to invade Great Britain, but first they intended to destroy Great Britain's Royal Air Force. Fortunately for Great Britain the German plan did not succeed. The strong defense of Great Britain against destructive air raids directed by the German air force (Luftwaffe) lasted from July through September 1940, after the fall of France.

With the help of the conference it had been decided that Germany would be divided into occupied zones administered by U.S., British, French, and Soviet forces.

The Battle of Berlin occurred from April 16th 1945 to May 2nd, 1945 and was fought between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany in the German capital of Berlin.
