    the caves of Lascaux is near Montignac, France. it is a setting of complex caves. there are over 600 wall paintings in the caves.the paintings mainly consist of animals. The paintings date back to 17000 B.C.E. they were also discovered around 1940. impact of Lascaux. the impact it gave was that the caves showed us alot about how they live and what types of livestock/animals they raised. It also taught us about there daily acivities.
