He was born in Oak Parks, Ilinois. He was the second of six children. -
Gets dressed like a girl
His mom dressed him like a girl until age 6. This had a big impact on the start to his life. -
High school
He was on the football team, but wasn't very good. He told heroic stories about himself though and that's where he got his creativity. He started to write in the school newspaper and yearbook and it all began. -
The Army
He joins the Army but gets rejected due to bad eyesight. He voluenteers to drive the ambulance at Red Cross. -
Wife leaves him and writes another book
He is injured in the war and comes back to the US. His wife though, fell in love with another guy so it influenced him to write the book "Farewell to Arms". -

He wins a nobel prize in littetrure. He commented that it should of been awarded to him a llong time ago. -

He commits suicide with a shotgun in his own home. Buried in Ketchum. -
