(Age 5) Today Grace took it upon herself to stop mom from tying her shoes and instead wanted to do it herself. it took some time, but Upon success Grace was heavily praised and shows a sense of pride. Erikson stage 3 Initiative vs guilt, this is the stage where children ages 3-5 learn to become independent or they learn that they cannot, In this case Grace successfully tied her own shoes and earned a level of confidence. This is a successful resolution of this stage.

Grace Graduated high school (Age 18) and enrolled in College for an Associates degree in Psychology In Erikson's fifth stage Identity vs confusion, the crisis that arises is finding ones self, in this case, Grace decided to attend college after graduation and therefore shows a successful completion of this stage.

(Age 48)- Today was Graces first day volunteering at her local Elementary school assisting with the classroom. This allows Grace to share some of her personal experience with a younger generation in an attempt to make an impression/ make a difference.
Erikson stage 7- Generativity vs stagnation-
although Grace never had children herself, she did not let that stop her, instead she used her resources and impacted a younger generation of kids.
