On September 25, 2000, the country of Equestria was founded. The people of North America had gone on a long journey to find a new country to add to North America. They errupted into cheers the moment they saw the glittering sand on the beach of Equestria. -
Diamonds were Found
Some kids were playing at the beach, building sand castles. While they were filling their buckets with sand, one of them cut herself. Her parents looked around in the sand for a while and found a very shiny stone. This stone was a diamond! People everywhere heard about this and started moving to Equestria. Entrepreneurs in wholesale and retail started exporting diamonds to other countries. -
The Military was Formed
When the leaders of Equestria heard about the war in Iraq, they started to train people in case of a war. Their military wan't very good at first, but they trained and trained, and soon became a very strong military. This is helpful because if another country invades Equestria, they are ready to fight and win! -
Unicorn Selected as National Animal
The leaders of Equestria had been arguing for a long time over whether the unicorn or the narwhal should have been the national animal. Since the country's name is Equestria, they chose the unicorn to be the country's animal. Since people believed unicorns were a symbol of peace, they chose this as the national animal to remind future generations that peace was their guiding principle. -
Time Machine was Invented
Everybody wondered what Equestria looked like before it was founded, so the islanders decided to build a time machine. People learned how beautiful the island was before people started to live on it. They traveled to the future and were shocked to see the state of the country 30 years from today. They learned to respect the island for its beauty. Equestrians decided to recycle to preserve the country's beauty before it was too late.
