One day Equality sees The Golden One in the field and he develops a crush on her, so then he goes to talk to her.

Equality finds electricity in his tunnel and now he just has to find the courage to come out of the hole and show everyone his invention.

Equality is so proud of himsle for his finding that he gets so excited that he is late getting to the House of Street Sweepers and is punished.He refuses to tell them where he was so he is sent to the Palace of Corrective Detention and whipped.

When Equality realizes it is almost time for him to present himself to the World Council, he breaks out of jail where he was sent to for a month.

When Equality takes his light baulb to the world council, they try to kill him and destory his invention.

Equality decides to live in the enchanted forest and it just so happens that The Golden One followed him there and they vowed to live in the forest together.

As Equality is reading a book he finds in the forest, he comes across the word "I" and finds out what it means. He shares his realization about happiness and freedom. The Golden One is also pregnant now :)
