I started Kindergarden at Sanders Corner Elementary. During this time, Kindergarden was divided into AM and PM sections of the day. I was placed in the morning section. I can remember being so excited to start "big girl" school, packing my backpack a week before my first day. -

After living in Virginia for 10 years, I moved to North Carolina. My dad received a job offer for a position as Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students at North Carolina Wilmington University. My family and I have lived in North Carolina ever since, and absolutely love it. -

Choose a Major
After 2 years at North Carolina State University, and a lot of stress and debate, I finally found my passion. I initially thought I wanted to study psychology, followed by business. FInally, I found that teaching elementary level children is my calling and decided to follow that career path. -

In 2009, the North Carolina Azalea Festival is selected as a top 20 event in the South Eastern Tourism Society. This Festival is Wilmington’s annual community celebration and is the largest festival of its kind in the state. Founded in 1948, the Azalea Festival has emerged as Wilmington’s premier event. -
New One World Trade Center opens
One World Trade Center is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan, New York City. It is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, and the sixth-tallest in the world.
