Eddie Guerrero comes from three generations of Professional Wrestlers. His Grandfather, Father, Uncle, all of his brothers, and his nephew Chavo are Professional Wrestlers as well. Although he grew up with a Wrestling ring in his backyard and spent many Summers wrestling with Chavo he didn't make his official debut until he was 19 years old. He debuted for CMLL as Máscara Mágica (Magic Mask) where he wrestled for 5 years before departing for another company, Asistencia Asesoría y Administración.

    Disgracing Luchador Culture
In Lucha Libre the mask is sacred. A Luchador only takes off their mask when they lose a Luchas de Apuestas match (a match where you bargain your hair/mask) or when they retire. In true heel (villain) fashion, It was announced before the mask that he would be unmasking and wrestling as "Edy Guerrero". He unmasked and was immediately attacked by his opponent for doing so. It garnered him infamy in Mexico. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqgnRRTXaII

On April 1st 2006, Eddie Guerrero was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Guerrero was just entering the prime of his career when he was taken away from this World but his impact lives on today. Many current day wrestlers were inspired to become a wrestler by Eddie Guerrero. I have personally watched an Eddie Guerrero match every single week for the last 15 years. He will not be forgotten.
