Homo Erectus was a biped, with a protruding jaw and stood 5 ft. tall. Homo Erectus had larger brains than Homo Habilis. There ability to think allowed them to use fire and huts.

Homo Sapiens was a biped with a ridge between the eyes and stood 5 1/2 ft. tall. They had very large brains to make knives, scrapers, and spear points. They were also the first hominids to have burial rituals.
